Tom Ciulla

Tom Ciulla is a Managing Director in Treliant’s Capital Markets Solutions practice. Tom is a senior executive with extensive business, operations, and IT experience as a Big 4 partner serving sell-side, buy-side, and industry utility clients across global financial markets. He specializes in developing financial services solutions, while growing and bringing them to market through a combination of targeted sales campaigns, value-add industry eminence, and relationship building based on trust and quality delivery. He has an established record partnering with C-level executives to achieve enterprise mandates across areas that include trade clearing and settlement, derivatives processing, securities finance, collateral management, liquidity, counterparty credit risk, and technical architecture/automation solutions. He has also enjoyed success working with bank consortiums to develop industry utility solutions to solve participants’ common issues. Thomas is a creative and strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to understand and define client needs and business requirements while identifying agile ways to utilize technology-based solutions to support innovative target operating models.

Tom has held positions at Capgemini as a Vice President responsible for building its capital markets advisory function. Prior to Capgemini, he was a partner at PwC in the capital markets advisory and digital transformation practice. There, he assisted clients on both sides of the street, as well as utilities participants, with enterprise transformation efforts from strategy through execution. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Deloitte, where he focused on global financial services operations and technology transformation, specializing in counterparty credit risk and financial crimes.

Tom is a graduate of John Jay College with a degree in Forensic Psychology. He also holds credentials as a Project Management Professional, Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, Certified Fraud Examiner, Agile developer, and Certified Dev/Ops Practitioner.
