Lorraine Faust, a Senior Manager with Treliant, is a regulatory and compliance professional with over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry. She has worked in small, mid-size, and large financial institutions in both internal audit and compliance.

Knowledgeable in a wide range of consumer protection laws, Lorraine’s focus areas include the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Fair Housing Act (FHA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP), and Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA). During her banking career she has served as an internal consultant providing a common-sense approach in areas including regulatory change management, policy and procedure reviews, product reviews, fair lending analysis, redlining analysis, merger and acquisition due diligence, and risk assessments.

Prior to joining Treliant, Lorraine held many senior positions in the financial services sector, most recently as Senior Compliance Officer/Fair Lending Officer at First Horizon Bank. There she was responsible for maintaining the fair lending program, serving as the fair lending and UDAAP subject matter expert, and submitting the annual HMDA and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) data.

Lorraine has handled regulatory relations and assisted examinations conducted by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Federal Reserve Board (FRB), and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). She has participated on various trade association committees for the Consumer Bankers Association, Mid-Size Banking Coalition, and American Bankers Association. She has engaged in working groups with those trade associations on HMDA, Small Dollar Lending, and Small Business Lending Data Collection, and she was Treasurer and President of the New Orleans chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Lorraine has obtained the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) certification but also holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designations.

She has a BS in Accounting from Southeastern Louisiana University.
