Kris McIntire
Senior Advisor
Kris McIntire is a Senior Advisor at Treliant, providing strategic counsel, regulatory and market insight, and support to the company. With nearly 40 years of experience in bank regulation, consulting, and governance – including 32 years at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Kris helps clients navigate their most complex challenges.
Most recently, Kris worked as a consultant advising banks of varying sizes and risk profiles on regulatory, risk, and compliance matters. His focus areas included corporate governance, risk management, board and management oversight, capital adequacy, asset quality, earnings performance, liquidity, and market risk.
In government, Kris served as Deputy Comptroller for Large Bank Supervision at the OCC, where he held a variety of roles with increasing scope and responsibility. He was Examiner-in-Charge at three large financial institutions, a member of the OCC’s National Risk Committee, and led interagency coordination with the FDIC and Federal Reserve. Internationally, he represented the OCC on the Basel Committee’s Cross-Border Crisis Management Group. He is currently a member of the board of directors of a federally supervised bank, where he chairs the Risk Committee and sits on the Audit and Compensation Committees.
Kris holds an undergraduate degree in accounting, passed the Certified Public Accountant examination, and earned his commission as a National Bank Examiner while at the OCC.
