Bobbie Paul is a Managing Director at Treliant, specializing in fraud, identity, and financial crimes compliance. She brings over two decades of experience designing and leading risk and compliance programs across the financial services, financial technology (fintech), and digital payments sectors. Bobbie advises clients on building and transforming high-performing programs that reduce losses, improve efficiency, and meet regulatory requirements – while aligning with business growth goals.

At Treliant, Bobbie manages client engagements and serves as a subject matter expert on fraud mitigation, KYC/identity verification, and financial crime frameworks. Her focus areas include financial institutions, fintechs, digital asset companies, and payment processors. She provides strategic oversight and acts as the primary liaison for project teams, ensuring clients are equipped to meet evolving threats and regulatory expectations.

Prior to Treliant, Bobbie was the Head of Fraud and Identity at MVB, a leading fintech-forward and Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) financial institution. There, she led enterprise-wide fraud programs across complex banking and fintech partnerships and oversaw fraud risk strategy for the launch of a major personal finance platform’s direct banking offerings.

Before MVB, Bobbie built and led the Fraud and Identity arm of Experian’s Advisory Services. She partnered with clients on program design, risk assessments, regulatory exam preparation, and the implementation of fraud and identity technology solutions across policy, operations, and reporting domains.

Earlier in her career, Bobbie held senior leadership roles in financial services and risk operations, with global responsibility for compliance, asset protection, and program management. Her work spanned new product launches, real-time authorization platforms, and enterprise-wide risk architecture. She is known for developing cross-functional programs that align regulatory compliance with operational goals, as well as for mentoring rising leaders in the industry.
