Development of IT Strategy for Multinational Corporate Bank
A tier 1 banking client was aware that the global banking business had under-invested in technology for several years. The technology stack was suboptimal comprising many manual processes, a lack of standardization, poor data architecture, and an environment that was difficult to change. Investment levels were low year on year and a step change could not be made without a clear strategy and an understanding of cost. We were engaged to develop an IT strategy for the business to underpin an investment case that enabled a more strategic approach to be adopted.
Global Sales Process and CRM Platform Roll-out
A global tier 1 bank embarked on a digital transformation program to materially improve the efficiency of the Relationship Management and Product Management teams in supporting and managing clients with their business needs. Treliant was selected to lead the program and provide key resources. The client wanted to deploy Dynamics 365, one of the leading CRM platforms, as a cloud-based SaaS platform to replace an outdated and difficult to change incumbent solution. As part of the change, the bank was looking to homogenize and optimize the sales processes across departments, regions and products for the Corporate Banking area.
NLP Python Application
A global review and recommendation platform were looking to improve the efficiency of their matching and recommendation system when categorizing similar items from e-commerce platforms. Data scrapped from e-commerce platforms and websites does not always have a clear definition and cannot be categorized by simple rules. The process in place included regex rules with specific categories to identify items which was prone to produce a high number of false negatives.The Treliant team implemented a pretrained BERT model to run after the existing rules rejected items, a Python script that extracted data from a MongoDB database and categorized the data accordingly, updated the the database with the new categories, implemented a percentage likelihood metric to correctly determine what the item was, and established thresholds so that only items that had a high likelihood of matching to a specific item were selected.
