Bill Collins, Business Development Executive at Treliant, is a trusted sales and business development professional with extensive experience serving clients across the capital markets, financial services, corporate, and legal industries. For over 20 years, he has been instrumental in creating superior client value and satisfaction.
Bill comes to Treliant from Ballard Spahr, LLP, an AM Law 100 national firm. There, he was Director of Client Development for their Banking and Financial Services Industry Team. His primary focus was on clients in the commercial banking, investment banking, capital markets, insurance, FinTech, payments, and nonbank lending sectors.
Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Bill served as Senior Vice President of Capital Markets at Toppan Merrill. In this role, Bill was responsible for revenue growth and client retention of the company’s regulatory and compliance businesses across capital markets, corporate services and institutional and fund services. During his tenure, Bill successfully secured over (20) IPO’s and numerous other capital markets transactions across NYSE and NASDAQ listed companies totaling over $5 billion in capital raised.
As Managing Director at NASDAQ, Bill was responsible for over 130 listed company relationships totaling over $95 billion in market capitalization. Additional responsibilities included providing guidance to existing and potential NASDAQ Issuers regarding capital market trends, market structure, investor relations, corporate governance and regulatory issues.
Previously, Bill has held Senior Sales and Relationship Management positions at S&P Global and Instinet, a Nomura Company.
He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo.
