Todd Raque is a Managing Director in Treliant’s Financial Crimes and Fraud Solutions practice. He advises clients seeking to transform their anti-money laundering (AML), fraud, and financial crimes compliance programs. Todd has over 30 years of AML, risk management, and law enforcement experience including leading transformation and remediation initiatives across both governance and operations. He advises executive leadership on financial crimes, regulatory compliance, and operational strategies across financial services companies including national and international banks, payment providers, and fintechs. Todd works with clients who are focused on driving efficiency and effectiveness within programs and leveraging innovation in the fight against financial crimes and illicit finance.

Todd has previously held leadership roles in industry with responsibilities for enhancing, implementing, and leading key aspects of AML and sanctions programs. He previously served as SVP, Head of AML Governance and Strategy, Deputy BSA Officer at Citizens Financial Group in Boston and has also managed investigative and intelligence functions within large banks.

Todd has provided advisory services over the last decade at both Deloitte and Crowe, where he focused on helping complex organizations navigate AML compliance challenges and build sustainable programs. He began his career in law enforcement, spending 12 years leading criminal investigations involving narcotics and money laundering.

Prior to joining Treliant, Todd worked in the regulatory technology space collaborating with industry partners and customers as a financial crimes executive and regtech market expert at the software company, Featurespace. There, he influenced product innovation, sales, and delivery across the Americas for products that leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning within suspicious activity monitoring programs. He has also advised several startups and high-growth technology providers on financial crimes compliance product development and go-to-market strategies.

Todd received a BA in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University and completed graduate work in Forensic Accounting at Northeastern University. He holds certifications as both a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
