Timothy Pense, a Manager with Treliant, is a financial services professional with over 17 years of experience working in program management, regulatory compliance, auditing, loan servicing, client management, investor reporting, and mortgage underwriting and loss mitigation. He was the founder of a FinTech startup focused on consumer lending for personal, automotive, and home loans. He is a detail oriented and analytical thinker who also excels at big picture strategy.

Prior to joining Treliant, Timothy worked as a Program Manager in the Strategic Execution Office of Wells Fargo, where his team oversaw the production of senior executive level and regulatory reporting for over 200 projects within multiple consent orders. During this time, he streamlined and improved processes, decreasing production time while increasing accuracy and reliability, leading to savings of over $1 million per year.

Previously, he founded a FinTech startup focused on innovative consumer lending products. As founder, he was responsible for directing the company vision and business plan, product development, financial modeling, competitive research and product marking, product research, and pitching to investors.

Timothy also worked at Ditech Financial in client relationship management and auditing. He oversaw client relationship team projects related to the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), Flood Disaster Protection Act (FDPA), Mortgage Home Affordable (MHA) and client modification programs, complaints management, real estate owned (REO) activities, and customer service initiatives. He conducted audits of the Mortgage Electronic Registration System (MERS), federal loan servicing, fee assessments, and residential mortgage originations.

In his career, Timothy has also worked as Program Implementation Manager at IBM-Seterus, on initiatives including the rollout of the U.S. Treasury Department’s MHA Home Affordable Modification Program (MHA-HAMP) during the housing crisis and a borrower response package system for Fannie Mae. He also worked as a Portfolio Manager for multifamily commercial loans at Washington Mutual Bank.

Timothy holds an MBA with a focus in Leadership from Walden University and a BS in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Arkansas. He also holds a Microsoft Certified Professional 761 SQL Server certification.
