Thomas Smyth is a manager with Treliant. His professional experience is in q/kdb+ development, focussing on large scale data ingestion, design, analysis, and testing with focus on performance, clean efficient code, data quality and integrity.
Prior to joining Treliant, Thomas worked as a consultant for major US hedge funds, improving frameworks that ingest, normalise, and deliver large volumes of historical data to end users with minimal latency.
Thomas graduated from Queens University Belfast with first class honours in MSci Physics.
