Thomas Schlotterback, a Senior Manager at Treliant, is a seasoned compliance, risk, and audit professional with strong regulatory compliance, operational control, risk management, and consent order oversight/closure expertise.

His regulatory experience includes serving as a Senior National Bank Examiner and Examiner-In-Charge within the Large Bank Supervision Program for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). At the OCC, Thomas performed credit card, mortgage, retail bank, deposit, and trust examinations, and participated and/or managed numerous high-profile horizontal examinations, including UDAAP and customer fairness examinations. He also served as a liaison to the Deputy Comptroller of Compliance. He led national examinations of credit, operational, and compliance risk for consumer banks.

Previously, he served as Director, Independent Compliance Risk Management for Citibank where he established the compliance assurance program for Citi Cards and continuously refined and strengthened Citi’s second line of defense consumer compliance testing function in an effort to achieve the OCC’s heightened standards expectations.

Thomas was previously Managing Director – Compliance at Chase where he had oversight of all aspects of the card marketing process, including direct, digital and online marketing channels. He also developed and managed the compliance testing functions for merchant processing, branding cards, private label cards, Chase Canada cards, commercial cards, and student and auto lending.

Thomas has a BS in Economics from the University of Delaware.
