Richard Hudson is a Senior Manager with Treliant. He has over 25 years of experience in information security, compliance, risk management, business continuity and information technology. He has worked on staff and as a consultant for companies in the financial services, insurance, healthcare, information technology, and asset management sectors.
Prior to joining Treliant, Richard has held senior leadership roles, most recently as Vice President of Cybersecurity and Data Protection at Cordium, where he advised clients on compliance in areas including cybersecurity, IT management, risk management, and business continuity.
He has also been Chief Information Security Officer of Mizuho Bank, New York Branch, where he was responsible for developing and managing the cybersecurity program. During his tenure, he helped to secure the bank’s infrastructure and led many efforts to ensure the security and safety of the bank’s operations for its Americas offices. He helped Mizuho Bank undergo 15 information security/cybersecurity regulatory examinations, all culminating in satisfactory results whereby no Matters Requiring Attention (MRA) or Matters Requiring Immediate Attention (MRIA) were issued.
Richard has extensive experience interacting with regulators in the U.S. and globally, helping financial services companies prepare and undergo satisfactory regulatory examinations.
Richard is a graduate in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus and holds an MS degree in Management Information Systems from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
