Senior Manager
Meredith Beattie is a Senior Manager for Treliant, supporting Tier One multinational financial institutions, fintechs, money service businesses, and systemically important financial market utilities with regulatory compliance, financial crimes compliance, and risk management. Meredith assists clients in strengthening all aspects of their compliance program, conducting CMS reviews, and managing the day-to-day coordination of Treliant’s enforcement related engagements. Meredith provides end-to-end support of projects using her knowledge of industry standards and customizing them to meet the needs of the client. Her expertise includes regulatory requirements, compliance standards, change management practices, internal audit, governance, technology and NIST standards, as well as SOC II standards.
Meredith has served in management or execution roles in engagements that include: policies and procedures improvement for a multi-national financial services company; multi-year BSA/AML and anti-fraud enforcement engagement for a money services business that examined all aspects of the compliance management program, digital payments, new partnerships, and agent management; and CMS reviews for consumer and commercially focused fintechs. In addition to working with clients, Meredith also manages the business requirements and implementations for internal technology improvement projects and Treliant’s annual SOCII audit.
Meredith has over 15 years of experience in the creation, development, and delivering of programs for public-private partnerships based in the U.S., Latin America, and the United Kingdom, as well as U.S. municipalities. She has managed projects in coordination with or funded by the US Department of Commerce, US Department of Justice, US Department of Labor, and US Department of Homeland Security. Meredith’s other areas of expertise include project and contract management, stakeholder management, technical writing and bid development, SOC II standards and staff training.
Meredith holds an MSc in Major Programme Management from Said Business School at the University of Oxford (UK), a BA from Davidson College (NC).
