Kim Garber, a Treliant Manager, has more than 15 years’ experience in compliance risk management supporting mortgage and consumer lending products.

Prior to joining Treliant, Kim served in multiple compliance risk management roles including advisory, quality control, and audit in regional and super regional banks. In these roles, she led audit and quality control testing teams, and provided guidance and oversight of federal regulatory implementations for mortgage originations and servicing such as the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), and TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure rule (TRID). She also provided compliance support for state law implementations, issue remediation, and exam management with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).

Kim has participated in several trade association committees including the Housing Policy Counsel and the American Bankers Association’s HMDA and FDCPA Roundtables.

Kim earned an MBA with a concentration in Leadership from Averett University and a Bachelor of Applied Studies in Banking from the University of Richmond, and she is a member of Sigma Beta Delta. She has also obtained her Certified Regulatory Compliance Management (CRCM) and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) designations.
