John Kelly
Director
John Kelly is a Director with Treliant’s Capital Markets practice, leading the Legal Documentation team. He has 10 years’ experience servicing derivative documentation needs and running large-scale regulatory change projects for investment banks.
At Treliant, John’s role is leading up the legal team, helping to develop and grow its legal expertise, working with financial services clients on their documentation needs, and advising on regulatory change.
Prior to joining Treliant, he was leading a team of lawyers integrated within a large investment bank assisting in negotiating and advising on their derivative documentation including ISDA, GMRA, and GMSLA.
John was also a solicitor in Northern Ireland for five years, dealing with disputes, matrimonial, and criminal matters.
He has a Law Degree from Queens University and a postgraduate degree in Legal Practice.
