Hamza Siddiqui is a Consultant with Treliant. His professional experience includes financial and investment performance analysis, operations and business process analysis, and complex research and analytics within the financial services and government sectors. Hamza advises clients on a broad range of compliance and risk management topics, including risk assessments, regulatory compliance programs, data analytics and management, and process improvement.
Examples of Hamza’s recent projects include:
- Working with an international bank to develop, implement, and execute quantitative-based risk assessments under Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) rules and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions;
- Conducting a data analysis for a top U.S. bank’s compliance with the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) and other fair lending regulation;
- Advising a FinTech company on fraud operations and process enhancements; and
- Valuing financial institutions’ marketing services agreements and benchmarking the pricing of settlement services.
Prior to joining Treliant, Hamza worked as an Associate at T. Rowe Price, where he provided cash management and investment support for 31 portfolios, served as a subject matter expert for private placement investment activities, and analyzed investment returns for short-term investment vehicles. In addition, he provided oversight management for back-office processes and operations. Hamza has also worked in the United States Senate and Maryland State Senate providing policy research and analysis, economic forecasting, and legislation impact reviews.
Hamza holds a BA in Economics from University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
