Daniel Lam is a Consultant with Treliant whose skills include KDB+ development, experience building programs for data loading across exchanges, and knowledge of AWS, Python, and Linux.

As a consultant at a hedge fund, Daniel has worked to accommodate the needs of multiple portfolio managers. He managed the KDB+ support process for escalated tickets, decommissioned old AWS infrastructure, and optimized setup and configuration of financial data management. He also decommissioned legacy KDB+ code, and documented and organized information regarding past and existing infrastructure of the KDB+ setup for new hires.

Prior to being a consultant, Daniel trained under experienced developers and integrated new processes into an open source KDB+ tick code base. As a college student, he worked as an intern for companies including General Electric and Johnson & Johnson.

Daniel received a BE from Stevens Institute of Technology in Electrical Engineering. He is also an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and he has received training in basic financial concepts, including certification in Bloomberg Market Concepts courses.
