Ben Peterson, Treliant’s Data Lead for EMEA, is a technology leader with more than 20 years’ experience in Financial Services and fintech. He understands the role that strong data management plays in increasing revenue and reducing risk, and believes that data management can have a compelling RoI at both program and organization level. He is a tireless advocate of the power of data governance to create organizational transparency, leading to better compliance and decision making.
Ben’s delivery track record spans systems development, regulatory delivery, and data strategy. His systems development achievements range from DART, a derivatives trading platform for Goldman Sachs, to complete IT estate builds for enterprises such as Elgin Capital LLP. On the regulatory side, Ben has delivered BCBS239, GDPR, and CCAR outcomes for several major banks, and on the strategy side he has held roles including Head of Data Architecture at RSA Group and CTO at RiskCare Ltd.
Ben is a Google Certified Cloud Architect and an accredited Cloud Data Management Capabilities practitioner.
