John Grace, a Seasoned Global CRO, Joins Treliant as Managing Director, Risk Management

February 21, 2023 – Washington, DC – Treliant, an essential consulting partner to the global financial industry, has named John J. Grace as Managing Director, Risk Management. John’s appointment underscores Treliant’s commitment to help clients mitigate risk and prosper at a time of dramatic change in the banking business.
John brings an exceptional range of experience to the firm, as a former chief risk officer for the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) and AgriBank, where he was also chief information officer. In a career spanning more than three decades, he has also held senior risk management roles at AIG, JPMorgan Chase, and Citigroup. Additionally, he has served as a consultant to major financial services companies.
John’s competencies span fixed income, equities, foreign exchange, consumer loans, and other product categories—across exchanges, insurance companies, and small, midsize, and global banks. In these and other areas, he has proven experience in managing risks including those associated with interest rates, liquidity, asset-liability management, operations, and business continuity.
