Washington, D.C. — March 31, 2020 — Alan K. Halfenger has joined Treliant as a Managing Director in the New York office to expand the firm’s offerings for securities and investment management compliance. A former chief compliance officer with over 25 years of professional experience, Alan provides regulatory, risk, and operational solutions to investment companies, traditional and alternative asset managers, banks, insurance companies, and broker-dealers.
“Alan has had a distinguished career as a consultant and a compliance professional, and we will benefit tremendously from his background and experience,” says Treliant Chief Executive Officer B. “As an advisor and a former chief compliance officer, my goal is to help clients balance regulatory requirements with the commercial realities of their businesses, allowing them to focus on what matters most: running the business,” says Alan.
Before joining Treliant, Alan held senior positions at consultancies focused on global securities and anti-corruption compliance. Previously, he was the global CCO of Bain Capital, covering their private-equity, hedge-fund, venture, and credit businesses.
