The course then discusses the specific loan data collected and reported in compliance with the rule, as well as specific requirements of reporting. Panelists explain enforcement and provide tips and resources to help lenders comply. 

Andrew L. Sandler, Chairman, will moderate the "Opening General Session: State Regulation – The AG’s Perspective" on Monday, April 30, from 9:30 AM - 10:15 AM. In this session, industry veteran Andy Sandler, current chairman of Treliant LLC and former chairman and executive partner of law firm Buckley Sandler LLP, interviews a panel of expert speakers on the role of state law and the states attorneys general in the current era of lesser federal regulation.

Nadia Nones

Director

Nadia Nones, a Director with Treliant, has comprehensive legal advisory experience in the financial services industry. She specializes in providing mortgage litigation support to law firms and financial services companies. In addition, Nadia has worked on several regulatory compliance matters, including managing an extensive remediation process for a national financial institution. 

At Treliant, Nadia has led teams providing litigation support services in connection with the expert witness analysis and trial phases of several large, high-profile mortgage litigation cases. She has managed various aspects of large-scale file review projects, as well as assisting with the drafting of expert reports and preparation of expert witnesses for testimony at depositions.  

Prior to joining Treliant, Nadia practiced law at Bilzin Sumberg in Miami, where she advised U.S.- and foreign-based entities and individuals on international tax planning strategies. She also practiced law at Gunster in Miami, focusing on federal and international taxation, as well as matters related to the mortgage industry, including responding to mortgage repurchase demands and appealing mortgage insurance rescissions on behalf of a major depository bank. 

Nadia holds an LLM in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law, a JD from Hofstra University School of Law, and a BS from Brooklyn College, City University of New York.
