Washington, DC – March 15, 2011 – Treliant Risk Advisors LLC, a leading compliance and strategic advisory firm specializing in the financial services industry, announced today that Paul J. Cummiskey and Geoffrey R. Webb from the former LECG/Secura Group have joined Treliant together with Anastasia Davis, a former regulatory and compliance counsel to financial institutions and financial services companies, and Matthew D. Van Buskirk, a former examiner with the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS).

Paul J. Cummiskey, Director, has broad commercial, real estate, and consulting experience in lending, credit process and administration, loan review management, and bank acquisitions. His focus includes credit process design and implementation, regulatory compliance, due diligence, internal review, and loss reserve systems.
Geoffrey R. Webb, Director, has more than 25 years experience in financial services and specializes in financial risk management, with an emphasis on investment, asset/liability, and interest rate risk management. He has authored numerous articles, designed training courses, and presented lectures on risk measurement and management, fund transfer pricing and capital allocation, and other areas.
Anastasia Davis, Director, has counseled financial institutions and financial services companies, including national and state chartered banks, mortgage and consumer finance companies, investment advisors, and broker-dealers. She specializes in regulatory and compliance matters involving mortgage and securities products, fair lending, financial product sales practices, origination and servicing, foreclosure documentation, unsafe and unsound practices, and troubled banks.
Matthew D. Van Buskirk, Consultant, has examined banks of various sizes to assess capital adequacy, asset quality, management ability, earnings, liquidity and sensitivity to interest rate risk, as well as compliance with consumer protection laws and regulations. His review of asset quality has included sampling, evaluation of the adequacy of the allowance for loan lease losses, identifying areas of increased risk, and analyses of trends in asset delinquency and classification.
