Zane Blackburn
Senior Advisor


Zane Blackburn is a Senior Advisor for Treliant Risk Advisors. He served as the Chief Accountant of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) for 28 years. He was responsible for policy formulation and deliberations with financial institutions and other agencies on bank accounting issues. He also represented the OCC on the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council’s Reports Task Force and the international Accounting Task Force of the Basel Committee on Bank Supervision. During his career with the OCC, he worked closely with the other bank regulatory agencies, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Financial Accounting Standards Board, and the International Accounting Standards Board. Zane began his career with the accounting firm of Ernst & Young. After serving six years with Ernst & Young, he joined the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Upon completing six years with the SEC, two years were spent at the Department of Energy with the Financial Reporting Systems Project.
