Senior Director
Matthew Risley is a Senior Director for Treliant Risk Advisors. He has worked on various projects on behalf of banks, consumer finance companies, and private equity firms and has specialized in providing compliance and credit risk management services to Treliant’s clients. Prior to joining Treliant, he served as an executive in a variety of consumer finance businesses, both domestically and abroad, covering several different asset classes in operations and risk management roles. Matthew served as the Chief Credit Officer for Educap, a national student lender, and as a Senior Manager developing corporate credit risk management best practices at Capital One Financial Corporation. Matthew has senior management experience in credit risk governance and strategy, statistics, underwriting, pricing, financial and business analytics, and product strategy.
Matt holds undergraduate degrees from Duke University in Economics and Spanish Literature.
