Anastasia (Tasia) Davis is a Director for Treliant Risk Advisors. Tasia is an experienced financial services professional with a legal background in securities, banking, and corporate law. Prior to joining Treliant, Tasia worked in private practice representing securities and banking clients in regulatory enforcement actions, investigations, and examinations and regularly advised her clients on compliance issues. Tasia also has experience in hedge fund and venture fund formation, private placements, and broker-dealer arbitration. She was in-house counsel at Merrill Lynch International Bank’s Global Private Client Group in London and focused on FSA, SEC, NASD, and Sarbanes Oxley-related issues. Tasia began her career at the Securities & Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement as a Certified Legal Intern.

Tasia currently serves as General Counsel and Board Member for Women in Housing & Finance and has held the position of Vice Chair of Securities Task Force since 2009. Tasia is an approved securities industry arbitrator for FINRA Dispute Resolution’s Arbitration Program. In addition, she co-authored an article titled Compensation Risk Analysis: The Bank Director’s Role, Westlaw Journal: Corporate Officers & Directors Liability, published in 2010.

Tasia earned an LL.M. in Securities and Financial Regulation from Georgetown University Law Center and her J.D. at Nova Southeastern University. She is a member of the United States Supreme Bar and the Bars of Florida and the District of Columbia.
